Black and White Drawings

Use your image program to convert it to black and white.

There are good free image programs available on the internet. You can find these by doing a search.

Select your color picture and click on "Convert to grayscale" and it's done. Magic.

When you change your picture to black and white, you will see what shades of gray your drawing needs to contain.

In the same way, you can also see light and shadow. Start with the lightest and work your way up to dark.
