come to pray

This is the view from my balcony, I see it everyday but today the clouds looked different and since it was dark still not so many details to the building was needed.

I think it is one of my best so far. I also seem to think I'm improving a lot.

***Note from Kerry:
This is truly beautiful, Nasima, it's a fantastic piece of art.

Sunset in the tropics

It's not exactly the work of Picasso, but I am proud to say this is one of my best oil pastel drawings I have ever made.

I made something similar to this when I was 9, and now I'm 11. I think I improved ALOT since then!

Hope you like it!

***Note from Kerry;
Hi Francesca! I do like it, the colors are stunning. You should frame this.

This is a very abstract picture of the market place. I tried to make it hazy with pastel blends.

i don't have anything interesting to say about this home...when i was surfing the net i came across a picture and i tried to draw it...is it good?

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Nithya, I'm guessing you used water color? If you can't think of anything to say, you can always talk about what medium you used and the process you used to create your beautiful picture.

Your colors are vibrant and your painting has instant appeal. Good work.

And, thank you for being a member of this website, it is my honor!

Chill'in

Chill'in

Hello, Marty here:

This is an oil painting I did in 1989. I call it Chill'in, because it's cold outside. I used oil paints from a Bob Ross kit I bought. I hope you like it and would leave me a comment on it. I had a little shine on when my granddaughter/daughter took it for me. Sorry.

Thank You.......Marty!

***Note from Kerry:
Gee Marty, you have a natural gift - this is so lovely.

I've always had a thing for winter trees plus with me being in Kuwait I am really missing cold weather.

I did this tree and so far I'm told by my kids this is their favorite one I've done.

***Note from Kerry:
Nasima, it's a credit to you that you can turn your hand to any subject. This is very good.

I was thinking about how peaceful it used to always be walking in a grove of trees back home, I don't get to do that nowadays living here in the desert, lol.

So, I tried to paint them, hope you like them...

Brrr It's Cold

by Martin Hamilton
(Fairmount, Indiana-U.S.A.)

Brrr. It's Cold

Brrr. It's Cold

Hello:

Here is and oil painting that I did. It was one of my first paintings. I started getting a lot better at it the more I practiced.

It is like drawing or anything else you must have the want to do. It you want to fulfill your dreams then you must take ACTION.

While I was painting this I was thinking how cold it was outside. I used to go hunting and fishing a lot, however I don't fish or hunt anymore. I just leave that to the younger people. I will draw and paint and kick back and enjoy my life and by doing this maybe someone will receive comfort by my art work.

So please let me know how you like it.

Thank You....Marty Hamilton!

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Marty, my first impression is that it is incredibly beautiful. You are so talented, well done!
