I did this drawing from a picture that I took on a beach. I used a HB and a 2B pencil, and quite a few hours of time.

I love how driftwood can look sometimes! Almost like an abstract sculpture. I love the detail in this drawing.

Marc, you have a fabulous drawing, I am not envious, but hope one day I will have reached your level of insight.

What I especially like is the abstract that is contained in the tight composition. You have turned a piece of driftwood, which is quite inanimate, into a life form and I, for one, can see a history there.

In other words Marc, looking at your drawing is making me think!
