I like to draw animals, and this beautiful eagle caught my eye...
This is small picture on A3 size paper. I used B2 pencil.

I really like your drawing. It has a lot of depth and clarity. It is easy to look at and has smooth transitions with the different textures of eye, beak, and feathers. Keep up the great work. God has given you good eyes, and hands, in order to draw like this.

I have enrolled into adrawing and illustraion course. My first assignment was to draw something I liked. I chose an eagles head.
It is only by viewing something like this which I think is magnificent, that I will learn. This
eagle has depth and a feel to it. I',m still learning and seeing drawings like this gives me a different insight and maybe one day I'll be as good as you. Thank you.

A great drawing; you captured the true character of an eagle's eye with the corresponding features of the head! I carved a full size eagle in wood and know how difficult it is to get that eagle "look"!

I am sorry Loetji for not answering your question before. Where I live, buying special type of paper for drawing or aquarel or..., is a luxury so I use plain paper for art classes in school.
