Color Flower

Granny's bluebell beauty

One day, I saw a photo of bluebells. I liked the flowers very much and I wanted to see a real bluebell.

Bluebells do not grow in our area so no one could bring me one. My granny came to know about my wish. So she secretly asked all her friends and at last she got a bluebell bulb. Unbeknown to me, she planted it in a pot and grew it with special care. Within a few months, the bluebell plant grew and flowers appeared.

On my birthday, she plucked a bunch of bluebells and gave it to me as a gift. I became very happy, so I drew them on paper and showed it to her. She liked it very much and she told me about this site. She helped me to sent this drawing to this site! This is the drawing of bluebells my grandma gave me!

Painting Of a Rose

I've loved to draw and sketch roses and this is the most realistic one I've done :P

I didn't want to just use red so i used yellow for the highlights and purple for the shadows. I don't know if u could notice them in the picture though.

Purple Iris

Snowdrops

I'm new to using colours, wanted to have a go, this is a sketch, using water coloured pencils, which I've had a couple of goes with, also some acrylic paint, which made also a wash.
I was inspired seeing some snowdrops on the way to the shop.

Confetti Bouquet

Last winter I was not very well so I sat around a lot... drawing. Most of the drawings had no model, but were just straight from my imagination.

Drawing is soothing for me, so I drew a lot. I use a lot of color for cheer. I do practice drawing using this website, but a lot of times I just go with whimsical freeform.

I used colored pencil to create this confetti bouquet.

I did this with colored pencils. I am finding that colored pencils and graphite are my favorites.

After I did this, I found that layering the colors make for a more realistic picture.

My Wall Flowers

Fainting Tulip

I used watercolored paper, then used watercolor pencils and pens and finish touches with pastels. Added water throughout all steps.
