Halloween

Hello Everyone;

I sketched this drawing with only a regular pencil. I hope everyone enjoys it.

I only started drawing when I was sixty-four years young. I am now sixty-eight. It was after I had come out of a coma that I was in from a six way bypass. I am on meds and oxygen 24/7. The doctors told my wife to call the family in that I wouldn't live through the night, however the good Lord had other plans. That was in Feb. of 2004. I'm still here and I'm still drawing.

Please enjoy and please leave me a comment-good or bad.

Thanks
Marty!

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Marty, you must have such an interesting sketchbook. All of your drawings are so diverse and I have enjoyed each and every one of them. I love the trees and birds in the background of this one, they really set the mood.

Made ya smile---Halloween

Hello, Sandra Busby;

I want to think you for your kind words. I take your kind words and I like keep them close to my heart.

I am 68 and will be 69 March the 18th. But when I do some drawings I feel like a kid. I want so much to be able to reach people and yes kids are people to. Anyway a lot of times I am inspired to think, act like a kid so I can either draw like one or be one while I am drawing.

I like to try and instill, joy, love and to be able to make everyone happy for looking at my drawings. I am no professional artist but I draw and paint from the heart. And I'm sure all the other artist on this website do the same.

So I just try to gett'er done. I just put a new drawing on here. It is name " Espresso Cafe " Please let me know what you think of it.

Thank You Kindly
Marty!

Hello again Sandra;

Again Thank You for all your kind words they mean a lot to me. I hope that everyone that visits this great website would take the time to view as many drawings of the artist as they can and leave kind words for them also. It helps to encourage and bring joy to me and I believe it will to them also. When I draw I sketch from the heart. My mind is always like in a dream world.

My wife is always telling me to get my head out of the clouds. But I just love being there. Sandra I try as best as I can to put heart and feeling into my drawings. I don't ever claim to be an artist, I just love todraw to touch a person or kids hearts. If by these drawings of mine can bring a smile on anyones face then it is more than gold to me.

Thank You Kindly
Marty!

Made me smile!
by: Sandra Busby

There are some pictures which are technicaly perfect but give nothing else, and some which make you really feel something. I really felt something when I looked at this - and that was even before I read your story! It made me smile because it's everything in my head that Halloween is supposed to be. Keep drawing because you obviously have a way of absorbing people in to your pictures. I absolutely love it!
