Heart Break Jaqueline
The drawing of the woman above is supposed to represent Jaqueline, a girl I liked, even though it doesn't look anything like her. In the fantasy world I envisioned, she was supposed to fill my world with color.
The usage of red which represents "Love" in that illustration are her lips that I would never kiss, and the sunset which we would never see together. Her eyes held blue which represents dreams that are now shattered in the form of a tear over a rose. A rose which never blossomed into red "Love'. The rose represented our love that never blossomed.
That is extremely corny, I am fully aware of that. You have to understand that I was only 13 years old. It was extremely profound for me at the time. It was very genuine and painful for me to have endured.
***Note from Kerry: We have all suffered heart break, Shane, and we manage it in different ways. It doesn't matter how old we are, we carry that pain with us, throughout our lives. I think the drawing is very expressive.
