Hope Seems Far Away

The inspiration for this picture came from a National Geographic, probably my favorite source for pictures to draw.

There's something to be said for drawing a person that very few people know.....as long as it looks some-
what human, one can throw the original away and people think it looks good! :)

Anyhow, this was done with 5 & 7 lead mechanical pencil, my blending stumps,and erasers. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Sandra, thanks again for the kind comments. I really enjoy doing graphite sketches. I'll put some of the first ones I did on at some point..ha!! I have a suggestion!

Are you kidding? I have a suggestion for you - Give up your day job, open your own art gallery and sell your drawings! Or at least exhibit them! You are obviously incredibly talented and it's you that needs to give out the suggestions and not the other way round! I'm in awe!
