I am the Granddaughter and Great-granddaughter of well known artists. My Great-grandfather painted in oil and watercolour (Ettore Cosomati), and my Grandfather was a commercial artist and did work for London transport and Trust house Forte to name just 2 (Aldo Cosomati). Even my Grandmother sculpted!
Although I attempted to draw, I came to the conclusion that their talent dried before it reached me.
It wasn't until I found this site and saw the doodled picture sent to you by your sister, that I was inspired to take pencil to paper again. I am now completely hooked and probably permanently joined to a drawing board.
I don't know if my esteemed relatives would class my productions as Fine Art but they give me a certain satisfaction and pleasure.
**Note from Kerry:
Hi Elisabeth, what a lovely story. I can't wait to tell my sister that she has inspired you to start drawing again.
Your drawing is fantastic! It must have taken you ages. Did you use color pencils and color paper? It looks good enough to frame. Well done!
