Into The Distance

Into the Distance

Into the Distance

About 8 years ago I went to the Balloon Festival in New Mexico. It was amazing to watch the balloons all heading into the distance.

The one image that stuck in my mind is from a photo I took the first day. It was really windy that day so not many balloons took off.

This was one of the few brave ones that did and it was heading towards the mountains where the sun was rising.

The photo was a bit cluttered in the foreground, but the beauty of drawing is that I was able to remove the clutter and draw the beauty I saw.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Beth, it's great to see you are drawing things that make an impression on you. I feel as though I am seeing this balloon through your eyes! Good job.
