Me and my wife
Hi everyone, My name is John, ummm, I am not really sure what to write but I will give it stab.
I haven't always been into drawing to be honest, but one day I had a project for school where I had to draw the Egypt pyramids and other various things of Egypt. I didn't really think much of it at the time until my teacher pulled me to the side and asked why I was not taking an art class. I really didn't know I could draw to be honest, this was back in 1986 when I was in 10th grade.
So ever since then I found my self doodling all over the place. I have never taken an art class in my life, I'm not sure if I ever will, it's now just something I do to relax or whenever asked for a favor.
I find myself drawing more now than ever, I am 40 yrs old by the way, and i was diagnosed with having spinal muscular atrophy, if you're not familiar with this disease it is another form of Muscular Dystrophy. Now that I cant get out as much and really can't do any physical things, I find this as a great outlet.
I am married and have 4 beautiful daughters, and along with drawing my life now is more focused on them than ever.
Thanks for reading, I know it's short but I'm also not good with words.
***Note from Kerry: Hello John, it is very nice to meet you. You and your wife are a very attractive couple.
Your story was not short by any means, it was very informative. It's great to know more about you. It means a lot to me when I know the creator of artwork.
I am overjoyed that you love to draw because drawing can bring so many different dimensions to our lives. Your drawings are good quality and I look forward to viewing some more.
Here is the work you have shared so far:
