Kitty

This is a pen and ink drawing from a cat magazine. This was my second attempt at this drawing because I ran out of ink and bought another pen.

I couldn't understand why I was not getting the effects with the new pen that I had with the old one. Eventually I discovered that I had bought a .5 nib pen when I had actually been using a .05 and that makes a very big difference.

This was good fun but I must be honest and say that pen and ink takes time to do. Also, one has to be more careful when using pen or pastels.

Gee Bella, your drawing is going ahead in leaps and bounds. If you didn't tell anyone, they'd think you have been drawing for years. I really like the way you have done this one, it's so cute!

It is so useful when people write details about the medium used to create their drawings. I think it helps us all to learn from each other.
This Kitten must have taken for ever - all those strands of fur so perfectly drawn. This is a great little drawing and one I doubt I'd attempt because I'm not patient enough!
Can't wait to see the next one!
