Well, to start with, I saw this pic in a book and thought for a while how I could get that effect. I was just staring blankly at the wall.

When I realised the rough finishing on the wall..I took a piece of paper and stuck it on the wall. I used my pencil on it to achieve the centre of the flower finishing. The rest was just adjusting the pressure of my pencil and this is what I got......cheers

This technique and composition gives a feel of not only object texture, but a feeling of depth, of reality and nature.
