Mountain Trail

Mountain Trail

Mountain Trail

I was walking in the mountains and sketched this picture but I made some changes in it by making the mountains taller and the trail wider.

I do not know if this can be improved but I got it down in drawing, now I cannot find the same scene except in my mind and fantasy. Anyway the mountains inspired this drawing.

**Note from Kerry:
Hi Forrest, I love your style. This is a great drawing, thank you.

Flying South

Hello:

Here is an oil painting that I finished before I was in the hospital. I painted this picture with oil paint.

I watched Bob Ross one day on TV, and I said to myself that I could do that. Well This is just one of my paintings and I have sold quite a few of them.

This is wet on wet painting.

You can do anything, just follow your dreams and don't ever let anyone steal your dreams! If you would like to see more of my drawings and or paintings then please let me know.

Thank You...Martin Hamilton

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Marty

This is magnificent! I don't doubt that you have sold paintings. I absolutely love it.

Mountain Retreat

Hello, Marty here:

Here is an oil painting I did in 1989 it is next to the last oil painting I painted. I am going to start painting again in the near future. This is called " Mountain Retreat " I hope you enjoy it. I used oil paints from a Bob Ross kit. I hope you can see it ok, it is an an old bubble picture frame.

I paint on canvas boards. They are just as good as a canvas and the canvas boards are cheaper. I think I am going to start painting on wood and cardboard, to see how they would look.

The first time I watched Bob Ross on TV, I said I could do that.

Please follow your dream!

Thank You.............Marty!

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Marty, I love the frame, it really suits your artwork. This one looks just beautiful.

Simple Nature Drawing

Simple nature scene

Simple nature scene

Its very simple drawing; no too many things inside, as I fear I'll spoil it which is the usual thing i end up with.

I just reused a cardboard box rescued from the trash (environment friendly); I've stuck a thick white sheet and draw using acrylic & poster colors.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Viswanath
You've done a lovely job of the clouds and the birds. Your title is so fitting for this piece ... great work!

Peaceful Landscape

This is my first attempt in water colours.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Michael
This is impressive for a first try with water color. You must have a great time with your experiments in all mediums.

It would be great if you could write more than one line please Michael, just to keep within submission guidelines, thanks.

Birds, Tree and a Clear Sky

Birds, Tree and a Clear Sky

Just a very simple drawing, made on a card board box;
colored with blue & water mix initially; then tree branches, birds, clouds & grass.

A simpler one though may not be that much eye catchy.

***Note from Kerry:
I quite like it, Viswanath.

Cactus night

hey! its me zahida again! i've returned with this. What do you think?

It is a drawing of a silhouette of cacti. In the background, i drew a moon and tried to draw the marks on the moon with yellow pencil. i used soft crayola colour pencils to draw the whole picture. i went over the cactus with black paint.

please comment

***Note from Kerry:
