Bronte country

A picture back in time, shows the brontes house, which is a museum now, Ive walked that road and very little has changed, Haworth in North Yorkshire, with its moors and history is very atmospheric, and well worth a visit.

Past Times

My drawing is copied from a post card.
I met the artist who drew it originally, Jack Cuthbart, in Haworth, and he gave me some other drawings.
Haworth is the home town of the Brontes in which I'm a great admirer of their work and family history, having visited the home, which is a museum now.
The place is steeped in history, and N. Yorkshire a beautiful place, inspires many artists.

Victorian days

I love to read about times in the past, either Georgian, or Victorian, sitting waiting for the boiler to be fixed, decided to have a go with a couple of sketches. ps. like to read about those times, pleased I wasn't there, oh it was tooo hard in those days.
