Pencil Designs

My 88 year old great aunt designs and sketches these patterns. I was wondering if you think they are worth anything like at a craft show?

How much would you charge? I hate to have them just sitting on the shelf, she sits all day and draws.

Hi Shelly
I really do not know because selling is not one of my strong points. I guess the only way to find out is to actually have them available at a stall.

Maybe you can ask an existing craft stall if they would be interested in displaying them and if any sell to offer them a commission?

I hope someone else might have some advice for you, I'll open the floor up to discussion...

 She's great

She used to do needlework and knitting and so on, but she's never drawn before. She sits there with her little ruler and measures out everything. She won't use a compass. She was just pasting together scrap pieces of paper until my mom bought her a sketch pad, so at least most of them are on decent paper. She probably has about 20 or so.

I am with Kerry on this one...selling drawings is not my strong suit.....I wish it was..lol. But, these are incredible...she actually hand drew all of these patterns? Wow!! I don't even know what to say, these are incredible! The spacing, the design, the proprotions, simply fantastic!! Your Aunt I hope was a professional artist....if not.....she should be, her talent, skill and patience are nothing short of amazing!

My dear, have you thought about selling her art on eBay?

I have some knowledge as I have been selling on eBay for about six years now. So I could be of help if you need some. I love helping people like you that needs help.

I have a lot of info on eBay.

Also you can take her art to like flea markets. Or you could set up a table in your yard and offer her art.
