Parnelli and I were at an automotive banquet, and he posed for a photo. Later, he autographed it. He told me that it is the only portrait of himself that he can stand to look at!

Phil Hill

American World Champion, Phil Hill, autographed

The late Phil Hill, he posed for this portrait in 2006, in 2007, he autographed it.

It was used at his eightieth birthday party, and I had it at the viewing of his body the day prior to his funeral. He was a class guy.

Bud Meyer

Bud Meyer

Bud is a famous racing driver of cars, as well as boats. He is a member of the famous family that produced the Meyer Drake Offenhauser racing engine, the same engine that won more Indy 500 races than any other engine.

I have known him for about 50 years, this drawing was used at the ceremony when he was inducted into The Dry Lakes Hall of Fame. He set numerous World Speed Records on various dry lakes all over.

Tony Adamowicz by Rico

Tony is a friend, I see him all the time. He raced a Ferrari at The 24 Hours of LeMans, and also in the movie of the same name, with Steve McQueen.

He won the TransAm Championship, and is a serious go-fast guy, and a good friend. He tells wonderful stories of his racing career.

Dick Guldstrand, "Mr. Corvette"

Dick is the first driver to be hired by Chevrolet to race the (then) new Corvette. He is a friend, and a great guy.

This portrait of him was used at his surprise 80th birthday party!

Too much like him!

This is a portrait that I drew of a pal. I surprised him with it by giving it to him as a birthday present.

He said that it looks just like him, I guess that's why he hasn't ever hung it!
