Stan Laurel (Born in England) and Oliver Hardy (Born in the USA in the state of Georgia) were comic geniuses who made over 100 movies together.

They were also pioneers in the comedy genre, predating The Marx Brothers and Abbott and Costello, ect.

A Vanishing Breed

A Vanishing Breed

A Vanishing Breed

He hit the beach at Iwo Jima under heavy enemy fire in a real war for our freedom. Now nobody cares. He was my uncle.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Dennis, I agree that our war veterans should be treated as heroes for life and ever after. They deserve our attention, not movie stars. I care. Your drawing pulled at my heart strings, it's very good, very expressive.

I think it's the silent majority situation again... people truly care. Our family is very dedicated to our veterans. Your drawing is very touching.

Your drawing made me think of my first husband that was in the war and he came home to drink himself to death. people like to cover it under the rug and not talk about it. Thank you for being brave to bring it out in the open.

Vincent Price

Vincent Price

Because of his suave way of speaking, many people assumed Vincent Price was from The United Kingdom but he was actually from Missouri.

Best known for his work in the "horror" genre, two of his classics were "The House Of Usher" and "The Raven"--Vincent passed away in 1993-

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Dennis, I remember him well. Great drawing.

Marty Feldman was a gifted comedian from England. His funniest film, to me, was when he played "Igor" in the comedy "Young Doctor Frankenstein" with Gene Wilder.

Marty passed away in 1982.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Dennis, I thought I knew the name but I couldn't place the face. Your drawing has reminded me who it was. That means you've done a great job!
