I saw a toy robot in a model shop and thought it looked very cool so I took a pic with my phone. Later on, I drew it and this is the end result. It took me about 2hrs to finish.

I used two programs to draw it and a pen tablet on my pc (photoshop, Manga Studio Debut 3.0)

In manga studio 3.0, it allows you to have multiple layers and lots of different pen types so you can sketch a drawing on one layer then add a second layer.

Then, draw a more defined line on top of the sketch and save the more defined drawing as a jpeg. Then you can load the jpeg into photoshop where you can colour the drawings in and add shadows and other effects.
