Sleepy

My college age daughter began drawing cats as a stress reliever from her studies. Her drawings were wonderful and we asked her where she got her talent. She said from my side of the family (my sister is an artist).

So I decided to see if maybe I might have a smattering of some talent. I have a long way to go.

**Note from Kerry:
Hi Sue, I think your drawing is great! The best part about using drawing as a hobby is that you'll never run out of things to learn. It's a never ending journey of fun and discovery. Enjoy.

nice

i really like this because the way its drawn adds a warmness to it, in my opinion. i really like how it has multiple lines going around the drawing, it adds flavor ad sketchy-ness, and i really like that! i'm no artist, my dad, sergio garcia, is, but its just my opinion

Pretty Kitty
by: Anonymous

Is this your first cat drawing? If it is, then I'm amazed! I can never get the nose right (Which makes the entire face look out of proportion!)! This is one of the prettiest cats that I've ever seen! This drawing is perfect. Please draw more!

It's ok
by: Kerry

Hi Armand

It is fine to copy anyone's work for practice purposes.
You can note who the artist was on the back of your drawing so that you have it for later reference.
All artists copy, you just need to remember that you can't claim copied work as your own. Nor can it be sold.
Go ahead and enjoy sketching.

Purrrrfect!
by: Sandra Busby

Hi.

I think this drawing is fantastic and I would have thought by looking at it that you had been drawing for years! Mainly because it's loose and free and doesn't look like you had to try too hard to acheive it.
I would be very proud to have this in my sketch book!

Good

Hi Sue,

I like your drawing. Especially if it's a first try. Keep drawing and you'll find that you get better and better and you won't want to put your pencils away.
