This was a tutorial(?) I did on another learning to draw site. They came out really neat looking if I do say so myself. Metal is one of my favorite things to draw!

Pencil types I used for spheres

Thanks so much. The darks were made with an 8 b pencil,the rest was done in 2b,and I lifted out some graphite with a kneaded eraser.Also they were the woodless pencils.

This is so good! I thought it was a photograph at first! I also love drawing metal. I'd love to know what pencils you used to produce such contrasting lights and darks.
