Superhero-Lynx Attack Drawing
I had a lot of fun creating this picture. I did this cartoon for a superhero drawing challenge on drawspace.com. The superhero is the Lynx. Obviously, this superhero has powers similar to a real lynx.
I got the idea for this sketch from a Korean graphic novel that I picked up cheap at a used good store the other day. The Lynx's head started as an upside-down triangle as did the body. The arms and legs are long, slender ovals. The bad guy's head is, obviously, a huge circle. I drew a drew a huge diamond to represent his right hand.
Once the outline was done, I paid attention to the Lynx's mask, costume and gloves as well as the bad guy's sports coat and tie.
Finally I added in the key elements showing feeling and motion. These included the eyes, mouths and tongues as well as the motion and impact lines. I coloured it with coloured pencils.
**Note from Kerry:
It's very good, Jim.
