Black Hawk Down Drawing
Hey AAD friends!
It is 16 Dec morning(actually dawn 3:30 am) here in Bangladesh. It is our National Victory Day here. On this day, back in 1971, our country gained victory over invading Pakistan (that doesn't mean we are in war now!)
I have been trying to draw 'something' again, last night. As I remembered one of Kerry's articles about drawing from colored pictures, I chose a picture from my favorite movie the Black Hawk Down; turned it into grayscale and tried to copy it.
This is what I could come up with. The face doesn't match with the real picture, but you can at least figure out a soldier looking very anxious!
Thanks; and don't just praise, people! Come and criticize! Give ideas about how I can improve! (for myself, I think, I need to try Kerry's observation and up-side down practice, don't I ?)
(This is awfully big today!)
**Note from Kerry:
Probal, this is fantastic! You are improving by leaps and bounds. The fact that you are trying out all the drawing exercises means you can only get better. And, here is the proof. I am impressed!
Also, the bigger the story, the better it is! I love big stories!
Did you use colored paper? What medium is this? I'm interested to know.
