Vojvoda od Lerma

Vojvoda od Lerma

I have a lot of imagination and ideas in my head, but I have difficulties putting it on the paper. Besides that, I can draw almost anything I see.

This is a drawing of a Rubens great painting.

***Note from Kerry:
So, did you copy and draw this Dragan? If so, you have done a fine job of it.

Konji (Horses)

This is my first drawing I uploaded. I am not a professional.

I like horses. A friend gave me this picture from a newspaper. It took me 5 days (every day 2-3 hours) to draw this picture. It is on a A3 size paper. I hope you like it.

***Note from Kerry:
It's very impressive, Dragan. Well done.

You can hardly tell with my digital camera but this drawing took me 2 days to complete.

I quickly sketched it and then I carefully worked out the detail.

Before and After

Before and After

This is a drawing that i did the other night.

I thought the chipmunks were real cute so i decided to show people what an accurate line drawing looks like before all the furs and shading and blending will look like when all this is done.

So the title of my work is before and after.

***Note from Kerry:
It's looking good Ronald. Can't wait to see your finished work since this one is pretty good unfinished.

A Horse In Black and White

A Horse In Black and White

I was in the mood to draw something. So, I was looking at a friend's profile, and there were 2 colored horses that I liked there. I got the idea to draw this horse after seeing them.

I hope everyone likes it.

***Note from Kerry:
Ronald, I am impressed by the amount of practice that you do. You have really improved over time.

Great job! A lot of people find horses hard to draw, so they never try. And I think that's just silly! I have three sketchbooks filled with them, and they've become quite easy. Thanks for choosing such an easy/challenging subject! Being the horse-crazy person I am, I can tell that the horse is a tobiano paint, but can you tell me what color it is? It looks like it might be chestnut, bay, black (If you drew this with a light pencil), gray, maybe even a darker palomino, buckskin, or champagne? What's it's name? Mare, stallion, or gelding? I can't help but ask every time I see a horse (I'm not trying to be annoying!) Keep drawing horses, you're good at it!

thanks
by: ronald
my horse is black and white. i'm not sure the name of the horse i only draw them.
if they find it hard to draw them just trace them and then do the shading and stuff to make it look real.

by: Marty
Hello, Ronald,
I really love your horse. I am thinking, I'm going back in my mind and I'm going to be a cowboy and ride that horse of yours.

Spotted Cat

Spotted Cat

Hi, I'm Ronald. I haven't had much to do for the last couple of days so I looked through a book for something to draw.

This cat is what I decided to do. I suffer with carpal tunnel and it's been a painful problem, and I maybe could have done better.

I hope you all like it, it took 2 days to finish the spotted cat.

***Note from Kerry:
Ronald, I think you're being tough on yourself. You should be proud of your work, you really are doing well.
