Vintage Car

Here I would love to receive comments especially constructive criticisms..cos I know my car is gone out of shape.

I was trying something different here..by finishing the car with maximum short pencil strokes and only the border line with continuous ones..guess the combination of both messed it up....

love to hear from u all...cheers..

***Note from Kerry:
It's still a terrific drawing Martin! The fact that you're experimenting with different effects makes it look like the final result is intentional. I like it, just like that!

No Criticism
by: Anonymous

You said you wanted constructive criticism. I've tried to draw a real looking car, and all I got was a very very very basic, simple outline of a VW Bug. You put almost too much detail in this drawing, and that makes me jealous!

Doesn't need to be perfect!
by: Probal

The picture is awesome!

And from all my experience (of just a few years! ) ; i can say that art is not just about being perfect. its about the feeling it provides to the viewer.

Another thing, our dearest "uncle leo" (da vinci) said: "Art is never finished, its just abandoned."

Keep the good work, peace :-)

Charming!
by: Anonymous

I actually think that the fact it is not 'perfect' only adds to it's charm. I love it!
