Waiting For A Run

i was getting some paper for one of my drawings and i showed the owner of the store.. She asked if i drew horses..i told her yes.

So when i went home i started to look up horses to draw one for her..i took them back the next week..they totally loved them.

***Note from Kerry:

Nice job

Here are a few tips. A horse's nostril is a little larger and ears are quite delicate. Study a few photos on the covers of Horse and Rider magazine and you'll see what I mean. I really do like your drawing though. I have drawn horses all my life and had a good teacher when I was very young. She was an artist who specialized in oils of horses and she was a horse owner. She would pick ears for example and show me how to do an ear. Each week it was a different part. Sometimes she'd have no comment. I would be disappointed when she would not comment. Now I am a horse artist and horse owner. My profession is teaching fourth grade at a public school but my hobby is always drawing, especially horses.

Stacey, this is very, very good. Horses are hard (for me at least) and you seem to have them down.
