I have been drawing for several years now but have only recently started to draw portraits. This is the first portrait that I have ever completed and even though there are several things wrong with it, I am actually quite proud of it.

In terms of the problems with the drawing, the ears and mouth are pretty poor. Mind you, I haven't really had much practice drawing them features. As well as that, I also think that the entire drawing looks rather flat.

However like I said, this is the first portrait that I have ever completed, so hopefully I might be better at drawing them in years to come.

I have been practicing for years now and I haven't gotten dejected or tired of it. You are going to do just fine. Keep going!
