[Drawing] Book No Charge (for 5 days only)
August 21, 2013
Hi

Today I'm very excited to share my latest 2 Kindle books with you and one is available at no charge for the next 5 days. Both books are filled with illustrations and instruction about everything I did to teach myself to draw.

"Drawing and Sketching Nature" is available to you now for $0.00 but only for 5 days so get in quickly. This book uses Mother Nature as our teacher or mentor. Again, it starts by playing with simple lines and gradually builds your confidence from drawing a single stem and finishes with trees.

"Drawing lessons" takes you through mastering the creation of a straight line and then a curved line. From there, you are guided how to implement those skills further and utilize these strokes in a variety of ways.

When you click the link to get the fr.ee book, please make sure that the price is shown as $0.00. Different time zones sometimes play tricks but the book is available with this special offer for 5 days from the 21st August 2013.

Visit this page to get the links to the book and scroll about half-way down. There is also a link to the fr.ee Kindle Reader.

I like to offer free material in the hope you do something, rather than pay for something and do nothing. If it's your wish to become a good artist or a better artist, these books lead you towards that goal.

Here is where you apply the old saying to "Follow in the footsteps of someone who has gone before you". I definitely have a lot more to learn but it is by starting simple that I managed to achieve my goal. With every day, I am better than yesterday, I can see where I want to go and where I want to be. It is only by DOING that you will ever accomplish hopes and dreams!

If you are self-critical, I want you to bundle up the critic inside of you and send it to me. You don't need or want that in your life because self criticism is a destroyer of enthusiasm and hope.

You are unique and therefore your artwork is unique. Think about the possibilities of how drawing can change your life and make an impact on others.

I am so grateful for you because without you, I never would have attempted to write a book to pass on what I have learned. It was during the compilation of my books that I discovered so much more about myself and my capabilities.

Thank you so very much for being a part of my life!

What's New

Allaboutdrawings.com continues to grow with lots of handy tips and techniques.

Line drawings incorporate scribbled or contour lines and it really doesn't matter how or why you arrange them.

Drawing Tip of the Month

Try switching hands after about 10 quick sketches. This kind of practice teaches you patience and it keeps the learning process interesting.

When you've done that, next try drawing shapes like squares, circles and triangles at the same time with both hands. I found this to be a very intriguing exercise, I hope you experience the same.

Handy Links

Here are some online drawing books that I bought to help me learn, practice and improve. They all have a money-back guarantee which is fantastic because the books I like may not necessarily be the same ones you like.
