Charcoal Pencil Portraits

Some more portraits, which I chose randomly and hope you'll find the inspiration you need to continue practising drawing.
Michael and Bon Jovi, I've done with charcoal-pencil, and that was smoothed out with a stump for a softer effect, seeing charcoal can sometimes make your picture looks harsh- of course it all depends on how you want to express yourself!
My husband's portrait I enjoyed every phase of it, because I was expressing my degree of love and affection for him, and after 15 years of marriage, he still attracts me majorly with his characteristic face, and his mysterious look in his eyes.
Note from Kerry:
Your portrait drawings are very impressive. You've done Michael's hair just right and with great effect.
I already like your husband because he encouraged you to draw - sounds like a nice man to me!
They all make a great study and I'm sure you will inspire a lot of artists, thank you.
