Greetings,

I am so pleased to be a part of this site. I by no means consider myself an artist per se. My interest in drawing came about out this past year.

I have never had any formal training in drawing, unless you consider art class in school, which by all accounts has been several years back.

I have always doodled. I enjoy using pastels also, and am working on another medium, oils.

The "Garden Angel" drawing came about as I was sitting in my alcove of a garden, which is what I call my secret garden. As I picked up my pencil to draw, unknowingly I noticed what appeared to be the beginning of wings, thus, the Angel, came to life on paper.

I enjoy using my creativity, without creativity the soul becomes as barren lands. This is the place I find solace, with an instrument in hand, I can create ...something.

I also enjoy playing the keyboards, guitar and dulcimer. As this is the other creative side and outlet...I am a novice at photography, someday I plan on using some of my photographs in drawings.
