My uncle tried to teach me to paint in oils a couple of months ago. These were the first paintings that I did completely on my own. I know here the technique still needs a lot of work but the rest of them are at school.

Can anyone please help me with a good technique for the trees or bushes please?

I haven't had the chance to experiment with painting yet so anything I say can be taken with a grain of salt. My only input is that when you paint, you suggest. It's different to drawing. I admire paintings that are beautiful from a distance yet they are all splotchy up close. The technique is unreal in my opinion and it fascinates me.
