This Is Patty

HI! I'm Patty. I came across this site a couple of weeks ago. I've been wanting to share some of my drawings with someone other than friends and family. Thank you for the opportunity you've given me.

I welcome all comments on my work, as family and friends are quite prejudiced as far as anything I do.

I've been drawing just for fun for about 2 1/2 years now. I'm a disabled housewife with 2 boys, and have lots of time on my hands since they are grown now. I find that drawing can make the time fly.

Since I'm up all night and try to be quiet so as to not wake anyone in the house this is the perfect way to pass time. And I've been told that over the last couple of years my work has improved, but as I said family and friends can be prejudiced in their opinions on whatever I do.

I love to draw whatever pictures catch my eye. And I really love to draw pictures to give as gifts, I've given several as gifts in the last couple of years. Recently I've been finding old historical photos from where I live, they've been quite the challenge and lots of fun.

Thanks again for such a fantastic site that allows me to share some of my work.
