Blue Eyes

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

I took a break from all of the drawings I've been doing for every one else and just drew a random one....
Using the colored pencils i found to help ^^
it was kind of random but...faces are my favorite thing to draw, and it started off as more of a quick sketch...
It took around 2 hours I guess...

Note from Kerry:
Hi Lauren
Here you are taking a break from drawing and here I am struggling to find time to draw! I am dying to get a hold of those pencils! It's a funny world, isn't it?

Stunning drawing little friend, you keep drawing whenever the urge strikes and we'll still be happy.

Feelings

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

This is a picture i juss finished this morning (:

I've been doing alot of art work here lately now that i have a desk and don't have to draw while sitting on my bed :P Now its 1000 times easier haha

I had fun drawing this for some reason (: hope yah like it

Note from Kerry:
Lauren, I never take your artwork for granted. Each piece you do takes my breath away. You make it sound like you created this in a heartbeat and you're so casual about it. If I ever get to produce anywhere near the quality of your artwork, I would be one very happy girl!!

Beauty

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

I absolutely love this, it's one of my fav drawings I've done.
i didn't really focus on the hair, but more on the face...in all it turned out great.

I did this with a reg. #2 pencil and used a thin tipped sharpie for a few dark spots(: hope u like it:)

Aphrodite

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

Aphrodite is the greek goddes of love and beauty.

As I've said before, I am hopelessly obsessed with greek mytholoy :P as you'll probably be seeing more and more of me doing.

It was a relatively quick sketch, and if i had taken my time it would have turned out alot different and better, but it's good as is :)

P.S.-notice the little heart shes holding :)

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Lauren
For someone so young, you have such an attractive distinct style. I love it, just like I love all your work. You are a fantastic artist, don't ever forget that!

Leonah

Leonah

My friend is writing a story, and put me in charge of drawing the characters.

Her main character was Leonah. I drew her from what details she could give me, and believe it or not...she liked it.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Lauren,
I can see why your friend entrusted you with the drawings, this is really lovely and so very well done.

I know it's a little late but this is a portrait of my dad that I drew of him for fathers day :) ..he loveddd it !!

Girl Assassin

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

One of my favorite game series is Assassins Creed and even though most of you may not know what it is, its still a cool picture :P
I haven't posted anything for a while, due to high school of course, but be expecting more pictures soon(:
All together took me around 5 hours, mostly due to all the dark spots:P
The hood is also symbolic to the game, in case you didn't know :P I'm going to stop writing now, since I sound like a total game nerd...

artist
Note from Kerry:
Seriously Lauren, your artistic talent is phenomenal for one so young.
You're right, I haven't heard of the game and it is a cool picture. Looks fantastic!

Portrait Of A Girl

by Lauren Sauers
(wilmington N.C.)

A new angle

A new angle

I was playing around with different angles to draw my character from. My other drawings are all the same, usually head on.

I decided to give this a shot. A girl looking over the shoulder. I thought it turned out nice(:

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Lauren
Your drawing is very good, you have a nice style.
