I wanted to do a portrait of me to put on the wall but I didn't want to use normal a4 paper so I used aquarella paper (not sure if aquarella is the right word) so the shading became a little different to what I wanted it to be and the picture had an upward angle...

...but I'm still happy with the result.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Richard,
It looks great to me, I'd be happy with it. You are right to be proud of it.

I have moved your self portrait to "Introduce Yourself", I hope that is ok with you. If you want to add a photo, just send it in with a few details (so I know it's you!) and I'll add it to your page here.

You are doing some fine artwork, here are some links to your pages so far....

The most important tips I ever got was that in portraits in the end it shouldn't be any clear lines and only shadings (you most shurely know it already) but that's my "advice" I think you should try to ask some people that are more experienced then me. Remember I am only 15

Hello Richard:

Wow you did a great job on your self portrait.

I have all types of problems with drawing faces.

Hey my friend do you have any suggestions on doing portraits or faces?

Any shortcuts or just anything that may be of help to those of us who are having problems.

Thank You

Marty!
