I've been drawing a little over fifty years, but only drawing cars and portraits for about six years. I've never had an art class, now I teach them to other artists!
Twenty years ago, I found a thin little paperback about drawing. It changed my life! The author taught at a college near me, and I called him, went to see him, and he offered suggestions on how to improve my technique. He started me down the path that I presently follow.
My photo shows me at "The Legends of Riverside" event, where I was the featured artist last year. It honored the drivers that raced at a track that closed years ago.
***Note from Kerry:
Rico, it is an honor to meet you and to share my site with you. I am in awe of your talent. The fact that you taught yourself will be an inspiration to other artists who frequent this site. You are an amazing man.
