Some Hope

This scene is in the desert. Once a safe harbor, hence the water.
I got this book from the library by Keith Alexander. This man inspired me so that I just had to try some of his work.
I did try but woe unto me for my effort.

You're kidding, right? I think all 4 of these are very, very good, without a doubt.
The 3 color ones look to be water color (and pen) which is not an easy medium but I really love the way you have done them. They are so attractive!
Portraits are a whole other challenge in drawing but for a first attempt I am suitably impressed with the drawing of your granddaughter.
Overall, I think you might be a famous artist in disguise.
