Swords On Hold

by Michael Betz
(Las Vegas)

This is the other piece I am currently working on that needs to be put on hold for now... until after surgery and recovery.

It is graphite on Ledger Bond 50SH paper 11 x 14...
So far I have used a mechanical 2B, a 2H, and HB, and a regular 2B pencils, kneaded eraser, a typewriter eraser, a retractable eraser, tortillons and blending stumps... all combined.

My intention with this is for it to be a highly rendered drawing... concentrating more on blending, shadows, and rendering... I can't wait to finish it....

Note from Kerry:
Michael, I can't wait to see it finished too! It is looking fantastic so far.

Man, you sure know how to torture yourself, leaving this on hold while you recover. You will probably look at it a thousand times and just itch to grab that pencil and continue on. I wouldn't like to be in your shoes, sorry you have to go through it...
