Multi color drawing - wall hanger stage 1 stage 2 stage 3

I just wanted to do something with the daily newspapers. So, I made a canvas with them, rolled a bit at the top & bottom - to look like 'something' that old king's used for communication - forgot its name.

Anyway, I drew a few things - peacock, dancing girl, elephant, cow (?) etc, and colored with poster colors and bordered with liners. It can be hanged upon - as a wall hanger.

I know the drawings are not sound, but just to ignite a fire somewhere that we can reuse materials viz. newspaper to decorate our sweet home.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Viswanath, I think you might be thinking of a scroll.

This is a brilliant idea and one I am determined to mimic. Your finished piece is spectacular and I can't wait to see what flows from my mind when I do mine.

Michael B was impressed with your use of scrap materials so I hope he sees this one, too. It's something the kids will have fun creating. Good job!!

Viswanath...I never would have guessed this was created from rolled up newspaper when I first looked at it! You're so creative! I love this work and the idea behind it! Thanks for showing us the steps it took to make the end piece of art! I agree with Kerry, I may have to try this! I think you've inspired a few of us!!!
Great job!

It never ceases to amaze me.....what most people see as trash, you are able to turn it into art! To me that is simply amazing.....what a wonderful creative mind you have! I am exceptionally impressed with the way you did this. The finished product, at least in the pictures, gives no indication what it started as. You did a fantastic job with this!! I have to agree...you should really do a craft instruction book.

Hello Viswanath:

I am also impressed with how you use things around your home to create an awesome creation and piece of great artwork.

You know I get ideas everytime I see you post art and material like this. I enjoy and love it very much.

I am also going to do one once I get the time.

Have yopu thought about getting your creations together and putting them in an eBook and selling it?

It's something that you may want to thank about.

Thank You

Marty!
