I didn't get any feed back last drawing, I hope this one might!

Thanks for having a site like this, its great.

Terry

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Terry, your drawings are certainly worthy of comment, it will happen because they tend to dribble through over time.

Even though you draw these on napkins, I hope you are keeping them, they are great.

The little Artist

by Terry Gillen
(Austin, Texas)

"The Little Artist"

When I visit my grandson we spend alot of time together in his play room. We usually sit at his table and find different objects to draw that are in his room. This is a picture that was in a children's book he had.

Since the picture is of a young child painting I thought I would draw it and frame it for him. He loves to draw and he loves to watch me draw we have alot of fun.

***Note from Kerry:
You've done a terrific job with this drawing, Terry. It's so cute!

Imo

by Jade Talbot
(16 maes hyfrd, Glan conwy)

Imo the Depressed Rat

Imo the Depressed Rat

Imo is a Depressed emo rat who thinks Life is all about hate, sorrow and pain. I created Imo when I was reading my favorite book "the vampire daries".

I didn't want to create a vampire Rat so I created Imo. As you know Emo begins with a "E" but I change it into a "I" because emo is common to me.

Imo is rarely smiling and jolly, but mostly he's shy and acts careful around people. He hates mostly snowball (The cute bunny I drew) because when they were little, Snowball poured milk down Imo's Jacket.

This cartoon is just my imagination. I didn't have any idea in my mind when I took crayon in hand. But after i drew a line, I just thought of completing it in this way and here it is.

Big Nose Man

by Chaithra
(Bangalore, Karnataka, India)

"Big nose" man

One day i saw a man with extra big nose which inspired me to draw this cartoon.

I used crayon to do the cartoon. With single shot i draw the same.

It took me less than a minute to complete this cartoon. When finished i felt so happy.

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Chaithra
I think your happiness came from the fact that the artist inside of you took over and you were able to portray a cartoon image exactly how you imagined it to be.

The first step in drawing is to simplify your subject and you have done that brilliantly.

Stewey

(Camden, New Jersey)

Stewey In A Tuxedo

Stewey In A Tuxedo

I like the show Family Guy, and my favorite character is Stewey which is a baby.

I like him because he is funny and because he is a baby that talks, and when his mouth moves it looks fake so it looks even funnier.

So that is why I picked to draw Stewey out of all cartoons.

***Note from Kerry:
I haven't seen the show but I like your drawing Katherina. It's great to see you are enjoying this hobby!

Santa

Santa

Hello again.

Here is a drawing of Santa, I hope you all like it.

Please let me know and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone.

I used a # 2 pencil for this drawing.

Marty!

***Note from Kerry:
Hi Marty, do you go over your lines in an image program to make them darker? It looks to be more like ink than pencil. Aside from that, I think you've done a lovely job with your Santa!
