Dusk at Pool Side

My rendition What I was viewing

It was finally warm enough to sit by the pool and enjoy the world.
I drew this of the brick fence and columns that surround the pool. The wrought iron connects the columns and there are pebbles all around the bottom.
I am uploading a photo of the area, but, Kerry, you can decide if you want to run that. I just wanted you to see what I tried to draw.
(This is the first picture my husband actually said he liked. Said he was impressed with the detail in the bricks and pebbles.)

Note from Kerry:
Sue,
I can see why your husband was impressed - there is a lot of work in this drawing.
Thanks for showing the photo - I know it's not a reference photo - but it's great to see how close you were with your portrayal. I am seeing the world through your eyes!

Heh, I think the silence is because we were all waiting with baited breath to see how your op went.

Warmer weather

Thank you Kerry and Michael. I have already been swimming ( Max, my dog, and I). The water was a bit cool, but it was still wonderful. I am truly a water dog, and so is Max. Michael, you need to do your rehab in my pool. Bring the whole family. The pool loves a crowd. We always have lots of company and everyone is welcome at any time. I am so excited to finally get my tax stuff out of the way that I can't concentrate. So tomorrow I will get back on task (after I clean the debris off the floor.) I will be thinking about you tomorrow Michael. You will be fine.
