This is a painting done by an artist here in South Africa. It inspired me to draw it in pen and pencil.
This was my first attempt with these mediums.
It is a town by the name of Louis Trichard in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it.
The original was painted by Pierreneef.

Thank you Kerry, gives me hope to carry on.

Kerry, I might just add that it was you who inspired me to work with pencil.

Amazing....
Ricky. I am impressed with your pieces you have submitted. I so love the medium of pen and ink. Such clean clear lines they give, and you seem to have a very good control of them. I personally am partial to graphite myself, but, like I said, I do love pen and ink.

Thank you Michael, much appreciated. I must just mention to you that I am visually impaired. I am blind in my left eye and have only 70% vision in my right eye. Therefore, I am glad that you are impressed with my attempts. Thank you once again.

Bit late...
by: Kerry

Hi Ricky
I am sorry I am so late with replying back to you. I am looking after my Mum (83) at the moment so I can't give my site the full attention that I usually like.

My Mum does beautiful art and she is like you - blind in one eye and only partial vision in the other. Mum is grateful for the vision she has and she just loves her art.

In saying all that, I am completely impressed with your artwork too -- maybe partial vision gives you more to appreciate and you can see better than those who take full vision for granted. I just love your work so please keep going!

Oh, and thank you for your kind words, I am thrilled that I have contributed in some small way to your wonderful creations! (I can't take any credit though, it was all done by you.)
